They ask granular details they do not actually need to prescribe Pilates (like exact lunch hours). The goal is not to build the plan; it is to convince the user that the algorithm is working hard for them. The eventual output is likely 3 to 4 standardized programs dressed up in hyper-personalized copy.
The extreme length is intentional. By forcing 35+ micro-commitments, they manufacture psychological investment. When the paywall drops, the user feels they have built something valuable that they don't want to abandon.
They insert static value-prop screens (e.g., "Burn belly fat", "Relieve tension") every 4-5 questions. These act as breathers. They interrupt survey fatigue and re-anchor the original motivation right as attention starts to drift.
Every screen uses massive touch targets and auto-advances on a single tap. They only introduce friction (a "Next" button) when a question allows multiple selections.
They generate a literal graph called "Here's your wellness profile." It labels the user with highly specific (often inaccurate but plausible) traits like "Ectomorph" or "Sedentary." Then they provide an exact calendar date for the goal weight to manufacture certainty.
Instead of just showing the price, they present a virtual scratch-off card. The UI literally requires you to "scratch" to reveal a "61% discount" applied automatically at checkout. This lowers price sensitivity right before hitting the Stripe form.
